True Fin works directly with Gulf of Maine harvesters who use specialized handling as soon as the fish come out of the water to get the best quality fish possible. We continue that high standard of practice in our pristine processing facility in Portland, Maine. Revered by professional and home chefs across the country, our goal is to deliver the best tasting fish you've ever had.

True Fin offers a wonderful variety of fish and fish products that highlight the diversity of the Gulf of Maine, including cod, haddock, monkfish, halibut, tuna, scallops, squid, and so much more. Our offerings change seasonally, and sometimes weekly, in harmony with what the Gulf of Maine provides. 

SUPER FRESH

Our direct buying relationships with Gulf of Maine harvesters allows us to bring fish in as soon as it hits the wharf for maximum freshness, often reducing the time to market by several days. We offer fresh whole fish and fillet for wholesale and local pick up. 

SUPER FROZEN

At True Fin, we use sophisticated super freezing technology that brings our high quality fish down to -60°C super fast. The method by which we freeze our fish ensures that the integrity of the quality is retained for perfect preservation. And, it allows our home and professional chefs to purchase more at once - reducing packaging and shipping - and conveniently store it in the freezer until it's time to cook.
